Another Foodie Heaven I Hate To Share

Oceanaire-Seafood-RoomI can’t stress to you how much I don’t like to share my favorite things. You see, I have this thing about secrets. You keep them to yourself! Lol, however I do love my coStars…and I like the businesses I frequent to shine. So next on my fancy foodie fricassee is The Oceanaire. Everything I have had was absolutely delicious, except the rainbow trout. And I’ve tried it 3 times, 3 different ways….maybe I’m not a trout person. Idk. I don’t wanna talk about what I don’t like too much, only want to stress that it was the ONLY thing I did not Like. Understand that EVERYTHING else I have had from there I LOVED. No…I need you to understand that the way they prepare their different cuts of fish…the monk fish, rock fish, barramundi (LOVE) salmon, shrimp…salad…I mean, everything. Tastes aMAZING. They also have a signature roasted marshmallow flaming brownie sundae dessert thats Great if you have a large party.

But I don’t even have to talk about the seafood here and call it the best. There are many different places that have amazing seafood options in DC. I can tell you that everything (except the rainbow trout) is PHENOMENAL. But I can’t unequivocally say there is one specific dish that is the absolute best of its nature in all of the DMV.

I CAN TELL YOU THEY HAVE THE BEST KEY LIME PIE ON THE PLANET.

CHALLENGE ME.

BRING ME YOUR PIE.

ALL CAPS SO YOU KNOW ITS REAL.

That is ALL. If I go to The Oceanaire….and they’re out of Key Lime Pie. I’m blaming YOU PEOPLE. And never telling you anything again!!

Now, secretly….go try that pie. And have a great seafood dinner while you’re there.
